well, let's talk about being home.
it's funny because the suburbian disdain that rumbled in my tummy for so much of high school and most of college is now gone and met instead with nostalgia and you know what this place is okay feelings. i was reading through old notebooks cracking up at the notes i took when i was about to move here without a real place to stay and was feeling very new yorky:
chris student housing brooklyn
upper west side 3 train
$3250 deposit friday!!!!
i'm glad that didn't work out. as creepy as ray was, it was good for me to be in the 'boke and live with kristin. either way, it's funny to see something you obsessed about so much turn into a "oh."ish afterthought.
what else. it was fun to bring zach home and sit on the trampoline and wonder what kinds of bugs those were and tolerate family parties and drive down to athens for an hour and head home and and and and. it was a quick weekend and i was (still am) exhausted but it's all for the best. i go back next weekend for the dublin dance show and that should be fun but equally tiring.
as for things here, i am playing the waiting game and hoping things turn out for the best. things are getting crazier and not in a good way.
